Formerly the Greater Greenville Bowling Association, the Upstate SC USBC Association provides leagues, tournaments, scholarships and other activities for men, women and youth bowlers. Headquartered in beautiful Greenville, SC, the Upstate SC USBC works closely with the national governing body, the USBC, to provide the highest level of competition and an enjoyable bowling environment. The United States Bowling Congress officially launched Jan. 1, 2005, as the organization to serve amateur adult and youth bowlers in the United States. It resulted from the merger of the American Bowling Congress, Women's International Bowling Congress, Young American Bowling Alliance and USA Bowling. Today, USBC serves more than 2.6 million members.
USBC is the national governing body for bowling as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee.
